Back in 2007 a group of architecture students, coming back from diferent places in Europe, joined their knowledge and interest in computational design through a process of self-learning, workshop attending, and self-teaching.
Ramon Sastre, the lightweight consultant master, joint-ventured the team, adding his enthousiasm, knowledge, and bureaucratic support, to engine courses and settle the office.
From 2011, the team holds a grant from BarcelonaTech to research in structural wood, and is housed at CRITT, the Technology transfer centre of BarcelonaTech at Valles Campus.
Robert Brufau, the catalan structural consulting master helped the team to take shape, providing fundings and scientific support.
Isabel Crespo, had a special dedication towards the embryo team, providing support and software.
Joan-Lluis Zamora, has given encouragement and support to shelter CODA group at the official LiTA research group.
