The Crown is a doubly curved cantilever shell stage implementing an updated Zollinger system.
The traditional Zollinger system allows to build large span structures with short pieces but is limited to single curvature, whereas in our design the system replaces the joint with a rigid custom folded plate simplifying both the manufacturing and the assembly.
